SHARE
A seamless digital experience designed to connect and empower users through intuitive sharing and collaboration.

Overview
Migrated a Wix site to WordPress in accordance with UC Berkeley’s new university-wide mandate for all non-WordPress departmental websites to use WordPress.com and follow current WCAG standards. Designed a clean, understated theme to appeal to a broad audience.
Process
The client opted for a default Gutenberg theme, which I customized to SHARE’s specifications. I provided multiple color and font options, ultimately integrating Berkeley’s approved branding for visual consistency. To simplify site management, I implemented custom fields, allowing SHARE staff to easily update content.
Staff Pages:
- Displayed a staff directory in a grid format with links to individual bio pages
- Connected staff members to their respective research projects
Research:
- Showcased completed and ongoing research with accessible links
- Highlighted key staff involved in each project, including external collaborators
Results
- Creating a direct connection between SHARE’s research projects and staff streamlined website updates by consolidating information in a single location instead of across multiple pages.
- Achieved a 100/100 performance and accessibility score on Google’s PageSpeed Insights.
- Developed training videos as a resource for staff support
